Backing Up Your PC With Military Grade Cloud Servers

How do you backup files: your videos, your photos, and your documents? If you are like some – you probably save, and store your information several different ways: 1. Free Sites Like: DropBox (documents), YouTube (videos), and Flickr (photos). 2. Paid Storage Services Like: Amazon S3 and MyPCBackUp 3. A Portable External Hard drive If you are like most – your computer hard drive is your only back up, and you keep meaning to get an additional form of storage, but it just has not happened yet. Do not risk losing your computer files. Recently my computer would not turn on.  I thought it had crashed from a power surge that occurred in a recent storm.  I had a completely “Stress Free” recovery of information because I had everything backed up.  Everything backed up from my desktop, to my laptops, to my external hard drives. I was not lucky. I have never found myself lucky with many situations like this.  I call it lesson learned.  I have lost critical data in the past, and have had to recreate, and redo work that I had already spent considerable time, and money on.  Paying staff to redo work, already done, is a cost businesses can not afford. Get Back Up and check out  MyPCBackup Today!  Click Here. MyPCBackup is a safe, and secure backup system with exceptional features that include: Access Files Anywhere 100% Automated Backups Unlimited Storage Encrypted and Secure (same encryption level as banks) Sync Multiple Computers Thank you for your email. GoDaddy Domain, HostGator Hosting, Google Apps E-mail

GoDaddy Domain, HostGator Hosting, Google Apps E-mail

Managing your own internet marketing for your business is the not the route that I recommend for any business owner.  Why?  Because it is a waste of time to learn skills that will take years to become good enough at, and will still need to contract out some of the more technical aspects of internet marketing. But some of you maybe entrepreneurs just starting out, and like me (when I first started) do not have a choice.   Where should I register my domain name, where should I host my website, and what e-mails service should I use? Scenario: 1) I register my domain at GoDaddy.com 2) I host my website at   Hostgator.com 3) I use Google Apps as my e-mail service       When you host your domain with GoDaddy.com You may run into trouble getting your google apps to work. One of the reasons I use GoDaddy.com is because GoDaddy.com makes it easy to set up your e-mail service using google apps. 1) Register your domain name. 2) Set up your E-mail Account (Google Apps) using your domain name. While you are setting up your Google Apps – Google will request you to verify your domain name – GoDaddy.com makes this easy – just follow the verification process 3) Wait a day or two to set up your hosting – don’t set up your hosting until Google has verified your domain name with GoDaddy.com 4) Set up your hosting with Hostgator.com 5) To complete your Google Apps and e-mail you need to set up your MX Records in Hostgator.com CPanel – in the Mail Section go to ‘MX Entry’  and add the following: Priority Mail Server 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 10 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.   Some say you do not need to do this because Google Apps does a verification with GoDaddy.com but I have found this in not so all the time. Believe me when I say you should not take this task on yourself.  The opportunity cost alone is not worth the headache. I would hire someone else to manage this set up.  But I have provided the information if you feel the need to Do It Yourself. 6) If you are hosting on GoDaddy.com to complete your Google Apps and e-mail you need to set up your MX records from your GoDaddy.com domain dashboard.   Priority             Host Points To 2                                @ ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 3                                @ ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 1                                @ ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 4                                @ ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 5                                @ ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. What Is A Lead Generating Website?

Posted by on 2:40 am in Internet Marketing 101 | 0 comments

Before I am able to explain what a lead generating website is, I am going to need to provide some definitions. A Lead – whether you have an online or offline business you need leads to generate income.  Leads are potential customers, clients, names of people who have an interest in what you are selling, or in the services you are providing. An Opt-In Page or Box –  an opt-in box or page is where a lead enters their information: e-mail address, name, phone number – whatever information the business has requested to enable the business to reach out to lead at a later time.  Note the less the lead needs to fill in the better chance they are to leave their information.  An example would be  to only request a first name, and e-mail address. A Landing Page – in most cases the landing page is the home page of a lead generating website; any website.  A landing page is where a lead lands after clicking a link that interests them.  The lead may have seen a link that interested him in a Tweet, in a Facebook post, or an advertising banner on a website, and clicked the link and landed on the landing page. Irresistible Offer – the Lead has an interest.  They clicked your link, and now they are on your page.  What is going to get them to give you their information?  If you own a restaurant and a Lead clicks your advertisement what are going to give them that they want?  Apparently they have an interest in something about your restaurant, whether to have a meal , catering services whatever it is – they are there.  If you own a dental office – this Lead has clicked your link because they need dental work done; you do not want to miss this opportunity. A Lead Generating Website – is designed to capture potential clients, and customers that land on your home page.  You spend hundreds of dollars on advertising.  You put your website on everything you print.  A lead generating website is optimized with an opt-in box and an irresistible offer so you do not lose those potential clients or customers.            ...

Social Media 101 (1 of 20)

Posted by on 11:41 pm in Social Media Series 101 | 0 comments

The purpose of this 20 article series of Social Media 101 is to provide a base for understanding social media.  The hype, I don’t feel there’s any other word for it, is overwhelming for the: small, medium, and large business owner, the passionate entrepreneur, corporations that need to develop new marketing strategies using social media, non-profits that have seen financial benefits by other non-profits using social media, on-line businesses that have to use social media, anyone that wants to make money using the audience that the internet can provide How do I know?  I’ve been there. If you are reading this article it’s because you fit into one of the groups I have listed above.  Welcome.  I look forward to getting to know you by your comments, and questions. As a potential client of social media agencies, social media marketing firms, social media managers, and social media experts you need to get social media. As a “do it yourselfer” you need to get social media. A common discussion in the inner circle of social media money makers (SMMM ) is, ” They Just Don’t Get It.” If you get social media you don’t have to read any further.  If you don’t get social media, let me help you get it.  Why?  If I do not help you “get it,” then you as a business owner, or person making the decision on your marketing dollar will not put a value on Social Media marketing, and if you do not put a value on social media – you will not do social media the right way.  You won’t spend the time or money to reap the benefits that social media has the potential to provide your...
